Goals
To refurbish and extend a family home with contemporary interiors and landscaped garden for retirement. To create a larger family-friendly residence, an open concept floor plan to maximize space and provide excellent flow from room to room. Open plan homes combine the kitchen and family room (or other living space) into a single great room that's perfect for relaxed entertaining and informal gatherings. Open-concept layout with the kitchen to the heart and functional center of the home, featuring an island that provides extra counter space and a snack counter with seating. A decorative ceilings to add drama. This contemporary approach to a traditional house feature very large glass rear doors with clerestory windows above stretch across the whole rear elevation of this open-plan space, maximizing daylight in the kitchen, living, dining and study areas. open floor plans, but even more traditional designs have embraced the concept.

Granted permission on condition the owner financed the relocation of side sewer. In view of the cost and liability involved, it was decided to carry out the project in a sensitive “exempted Development” approach under Dublin City Development Plan.
II. Tender suitable contractors
A full design and tender package was issued to suitably qualified contractors and successfully completed on time and within budget.
